What information will convert from prior versions of Sage Timeslips?
All data will convert, as well as any custom bill templates, preferences, custom spell-check dictionaries, custom Navigator templates, and Sage Timeslips Today templates.
Will existing reports created in earlier versions of Sage Timeslips convert to the new report design tool in Timeslips 2011?
Yes.
How long does it take to install and set up?
The actual installation takes less than five minutes. The time needed to convert data depends largely on the size of the database and can range from a few minutes to more than an hour. As soon as the product is installed and converted, you can pick up right where you left off in your bill cycle.
Can I install this upgrade onto a new computer that does not have a prior Sage Timeslips version installed?
No. A Sage Timeslips 2011 upgrade must be installed onto a computer with a prior version. If you want to move Sage Timeslips to a new computer, you can either use the Reinstallation Code feature of Sage Timeslips v11 and above, or, for older versions, you can refer to the Sage Timeslips Knowledge Center at www.Sage Timeslips.com/support/kcenter/ for detailed reinstallation instructions.
How much free customer support comes with upgrades?
Upgrade customers are entitled to 30 days of support after product registration.
What versions of Excel are compatible with the new Print to Excel feature?
The Print to Excel feature in Sage Timeslips is compatible with Microsoft Excel 2003, and 2007.
What versions of Outlook are compatible with the Outlook Link feature?
The Outlook link in Sage Timeslips 2011 is compatible with Outlook 2003, 2007.
What operating systems is Sage Timeslips 2011 compatible with?
Sage Timeslips 2011 operates in Windows® 7 Ultimate or Professional, Windows Vista® Business or Ultimate; Windows XP SP3.
With which versions of Peachtree does Sage Timeslips 2011 link?
Sage Timeslips 2011 links with Sage Peachtree 2009-2011.
Do I need to buy separate Remote upgrades for each of the Sage Timeslips Remote that I own?
The Sage Timeslips 2011 upgrade includes a free Remote upgrade that will make existing Remotes compatible with Sage Timeslips 2011 but does not add the enhanced features found in Remote Plus.
How can I tell what version I have, the number of stations and other license information?
In Windows versions of Sage Timeslips, click on Help; About Sage Timeslips. In older DOS versions, the version number is displayed at the top of the screen and capacities can be found by selecting Settings; Terminology & Capacity.
Can I access Sage Timeslips 2011 using Terminal Services?
Yes, Sage Timeslips 2011 is compatible with windows Terminal Services. An available Sage Timeslips network license is required for each computer accessing Sage Timeslips through Terminal Services but is only required for as long as the remote computer is logged in.
